Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

its that time again: help me pick a new game

The new Elder Scrolls.

Oblivion was great. I spent more time playing that than any other non FPS (Call of Duty) game. The replay value is good and if you don't play a whole lot you will be playing it for a year or more easy. I expect nothing less from the new game.

I'd go ME2, IDK if the first one is available on the PS3 or not but if you can start there. Gameplay and story are awesome. I've got both and I can't wait for ME3 to come out.

edit:
And the Elder Scrolls games are awesome. I found a loophole in Oblivion to where I couldn't beat it in the main story, I am soooooooo close though.

I would hold off on Rage. It's a great game and is good for about 15 hrs worth of single player for 100%. It's just not $60 good IMO. I think it was a little over-hyped. I would wait until it drops down to $40 or less.

I suggest Deus Ex: Human Revolution if you haven't looked already. That was well worth the money. Top notch gameplay in all categories. I put about 30 hours into it because there can be different outcomes in many situations. I just saw that there's a couple DLC's that recently came out as well.

I've also been meaning to try out the Mass Effect series. I hear nothing but good things.

i might get either ME2 or oblivion (elder scrolls) for now, then get the new one when it comes out for both of them.

sure.

I'll mail you oblivion for the cost of postage if you want it.

ME3 has been delayed till 2012 FYI.

Gives you more time to beat them haha.

sold!

i was about to buy it too, haha.

the other game im interested in is the new need for speed: the run, but it comes out the middle of next month.

ME2 is worth the buy, if you do everything and I mean everything involved, you will be busy for quite along time!

Idea: ditch the overpriced bluray player and buy a slim Xbox. Way better assortment of games in my opinion. Then go buy Oblivion, Reach, Gears 3, and preorder Halo: Anniversary and Skyrim. Rage is pretty much Fallout minus the RPG factor, so I'd give it a rent status.

i have MGS4 and didnt get into it. came with the system and i thought it wasn't that good in comparison to the rest.

i am not buying an xbox. i also would not be ordering halo either. it already states i dont like shooters that much.
