Well I couldn't help but read this post, I promised myself I wouldn't post anything just read. Well I screwed myself now and I am going to have to throw in my opinion. First a bit of back ground so i am not accused of being UN- American. First, I am a die hard republican, Second a Veteran of the United State Marine Corp who also served this country in desert storm, I hold a b.s. degree in criminal justice and I am currently a police officer holding the rank of sgt. with 11 years on the job. I have served my country proudly and still serve the community. Now for my take on this latest political drama ( thank God its over!) for the presidency of our country. It never fails to amaze me how some people fall for the most ridiculous propaganda. I wanted with all my heart to remain loyal to my party. But guys for the love God look at the hot mess this country is in because of Greed,Corruption,and lets face it total incompetence! I have watched our military stretched to limit, I have seen greedy ass banks make money whole sale all the while blaming ordinary citizens of living beyond thier means. MaCain really showed his ass, and really showed how ****ing out of touch he is with the country when he chose Palin. He showed me how ignorant he was when he thought that Americans were stupid enough to vote for him because he chose a women running mate. I respect his service to our country but I couldn't respect his failure to understand the Middle Class who has beared the burden for this country for so long. Bush for what its worth lost total control making one bad decision after another. two wars , Uncontrolled spending and supporting the wealthy at every turn. The republican party in the last four years have dragged this country into debt and have mishandled and abused our service men and thier families. they gave our military impossible goals they raped the middle class with taxes and rasied prices for everything food, fuel , oil (with No supporting facts!). Oil companies made record breaking profits on our backs, powerful lobbieist made billions on the war.:th_shakinghead2: But that's another story. Lets get to Obama. I keep hearing all this BS about him being a terrorist, UN- American, a Muslim with such conviction. Guys do you really think if any of that crap was true that the republican party namely MaCain wouldn't have shouted out everyday that these comments were fact? Those of you that have that opinion seem to think that our countries intelligence services are a bunch of morons. do you really believe that if they could have proved that crap and that any of it was true that they would have allowed this man the so called terrorist to even be nominated? 
Stop reading the BS and look at the facts! Obama won because he showed himself to be the better leader, speaker, most qualified person for the job period. He stayed close to the middle class and distanced himself from old school corruption. that anyone would even dare to compare a Harvard law school graduate, with experience working in the community and senator to a major city to Palins community collage education , two years of a mayor experience of a town so small you could fit it in a walmart parking lot and two years as the governor of alaska, needs to get thier head examined! MaCain would have been more of the same crap we have now. Obama has allot to prove! he must be better stronger faster, If not he knows that if he fails there will never be another minority presidential candidate ever again.well not in our life times.he must try to deliver on what he promised. the democrats have no one to blame this time since they control the house and senate. No one to stop them from pushing thier plan forward. I will keep our country in prayer and hope that they can do what they said they can do. also keep in mind that the republicans didnt have a chance of winning this time. the democrats could have put a talking dog in place of obama and they still would have won. so blame the party!
