It's official the G8 is now the Chevy SS



that just proves my point even more haha, id just stick with the g8 cause it will basically be the same and prolly be better cause chevy will prolly find a way to **** it up
 
they could be using the new fifth gen small block they've been working on, from the sound of it, chevy seems damn intent on delivering the goods with this car, we'll just have to wait and see if the boss has sauce or not
 
i hope it does, but i just have a feeling it wont, theyll just make it a heavy tank just like the camaro

The g8 will be old and used. The SS will be new and unused. It might even be a different engine and transmission. You wouldn't buy it anyway. You'll wait until it's so old and used than it's less than $10,000. You don't have $34,000 burning a hole in your pocket. That's why you drive a GP and not a G8.
 


Holden: yeah we have some leftover commador shells from 2006 that we need to get rid of.

well i wouldnt wait till it drops to 10k thats just retarted, yea i dont have 35k laying around and neither do u, but on that note when i eventually get the money id get the g8 or gto and it be just has fast, sure wont be brand new but i dont need a brand new car just yet id be fine with one of those 2
 
Im hoping with the release of this one, people might trade in their G8's etc...
I can already pick up a G8 Gt around here for 20-25k.. I like to get one for less lol
 


Well tat's why I'm excited about the SS, I drove a GXP at my brother in laws dealership and fell in love. I have wanted one since.
 
GXP would be nice.. only a handful made their way up here... GTs are a lil rare I've seen.. bases are the majority.

It's totally not going to have any negative effect on G8 pricing. I don't recall the G8 making the Grand Prix cheaper. Did the CTS lower the price of the G8?

only 10k miles too... damn i wish i had money LOL
