Issue with 98 gtp help please information screen went blank!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a 98 grand prix gtp and just the other day my "information" screen went out as long as my heat climate control. "climate control" works but for only about 10 seconds. The climate control goes off and on. It stays on for ten seconds then goes out for a second. I don't know what i can check first. My information screen is completely out. Other then my heat/ac and information center acting up I have no issues. If anyone can help I'll really appreciate it thank you.
