Is this rare?



I think those only ran for a year or two. You dont see many of them any more, well at least of that model year. My parents owned one. At the time it was quite the car, but at 205hp and 220 lb/ft torque, its not the powerful car in comparison that it once was.

Ive seen a couple people on here that joined and owned one, but they dont post much if ever.
 
I know someone who has one. It's not running at the time though.
 
if only those would have come with the 5 speed, then they would have been badass little cars to have. my brother has a pregen and the styling and stance of the car is great, but the 3.1 in it is a dog.
 


pregen.....really? Those steering wheel controls are loads better than the crap we have now.

And yes they are pretty rare. They made 2 doors and 4 doors. The 2 doors were made in 1989 and 1990, with a total of about 7,000 built between the 2 years. The only colors available were black and red. The 4 doors were only made in 1990, and only 1,000 were built. 700 in white, and 300 in dark maroon. Those were the STE Turbos
 
a person had one here in town that was red. he blew it up from adding his own boost controller... and instead of giving it to me per ou agreement(when he blows it up), he junked it.

the car was MINT.
