Is this legit?

IR II IP IDEATH

Oxymoron: Civic - Fun
It seems like ive heard of an electric supercharger before, but for there claims and the price it would seem too good to be true. However the simplicity of the design kind of has me thinking that it would work, anyone have any experience with these? If it were to give you even 1/4th of what it claims it would be worth it.
Honda Civic 2dr Supercharger Kit Electric Civic 2dr Turbo Charger Bolt On

P.S. don't bash me too bad, ive don't know anything about these or anyone who has one.

the bolt on supercharger will make your horse power increase by over 80 hp.
Wow, it was a stretch when they were claiming 25hp. Now they're up to over 80? Ridiculous. Our stock S/C only adds 40

That's what I figured, the look of the design gave me a beam of hope but I just figured if they were all that and a can of pringles then everyone would have one. But even if it were 15-20 hp it would be worth $180 for my sloth of a car.

I wanna get one, write a review of the install, driving and dyno results before and after and then if it does absolutely nothing.....I just send it back with the dyno sheets but it will have to wait a little.

do it up bro, i deff wanna know how that works out. it looks like it would do a lil something if its powerful idk

That would be interesting. Do it! I just don't want you to lose your money.

That's a misconception.
Stock L32 makes 200 and L67 makes 240, but if you take off the s/c belt, or replace the s/c with a UIM, and you'll lose a lot more than 40 horsepower.
L67 has much lower compression than L32, which is why if you top-swap you'll make more power than an L67.

That's a misconception.
Stock L36 makes 200 and L67 makes 240, but if you take off the s/c belt, or replace the s/c with a UIM, and you'll lose a lot more than 40 horsepower.

fixed. Also, you only theoretically make more HP with a top swap. you will have to reduce timing or increase fuel octane to run everything from a stock L67 (including exhaust)

I was being facetious with my first post. If you have extra money to blow, and you really want to data log this thing then go ahead. Be carefull though, I didn't read the link you posted, but I've heard of these things shooting plastic fan blades into the intake. Additionally, don't see that thing being able to move enough air to make any difference at all. It's a fan not a compresser.

It says that when not in operation the 4.0 diameter tubing flows to the equivilant of a 3.1 diameter straight tube/pipe, im not sure what all that means but im guessing there saying it dont restrict it. Also says it only comes on at WOT.

And Hippo, if I did lose the money it would almost be worth it to rail this claim of theres and write a horrible review if they wouldnt take it back with the proof.

they are all priced them same and all of them have the same picture no matter what car you select. And they are all "on special".

Not legit

I dont think the M90 is a compressor. I thought is was just a displacement blower. Basically a large, hot, pulley driven fan.

but I've heard of these things shooting plastic fan blades into the intake
The MAF screen should prevent that.

I would be interested in actual dyno results. Im pretty sure it would require a tune, seeing that its suppose to add more air. I still think you'd be out almost 200 bucks + the tune. If it gave you 10 hp, I'd honestly be shocked.

lololol i can't believe i wrote l32. they need different RPO codes for these engines.
