Got some heads of another group and when.they shipped them, they did not wrap them well and the heads got nicked up, can these be machined or filed down? Working with seller now but just wondering if these are complete junk now?

Thats what I was thinking, the runners are already smoothed out and I was gonna use my current heads as a spare to port and polish...thinking if I file it and copper spray it would be good I hope.

you could take them to an engine shop and have them pressure check them after you put the valvetrain in to be sure. I can't be sure but it looks like there might be a very small crack between the valve seats or it just could be the angle

Those should be no problem after you smoothed off the sharp edges. You could even have them decked .020-.030 if you wanted.( not sure how much material there is between the bottom and the water jacket area)

Here is a close up of the first pic. I dont see a crack. There is a scratch but doesnt look like a crack up close and under light. Other question is seller said the bowls were not touched but oviously one was. Looks super close to the valve the seat?????
