Is this a good MAF sensor?

More Information for STANDARD MOTOR PRODUCTS MF5288N

Does anyone know whether or not this is a decent sensor. Its cheaper than the rest but I am worried that being cheaper it is not as good but I do not really have a lot of money right now so I need to find a good deal.

Just hit up Morad.

He'll let em go for like $50 IIRC...and they are just as good as that one. I think I've got a couple MAf's in my pile o junk...want me to take a look for ya? I'll have to go test them though as I'm not sure if they are good or not, LOL.

All in all though...a MAF is a MAF, IMO.

i got a used maf for 40 bucks, 60 day warranty from a local junk yard. its still working over 2 years later.

Alright thanks for the info. Just out of curiousity how would one go about testing the MAF sensor exactly?

if you have maf code, its either a blown fuse, bad wires, or a bad maf.

Another way to test it out...

Swap it in another 3800 car and see if it works.

If it does, then that rules it out.

I've had success with cardone remanufactured MAF sensors in two of my vehicles. No problems.
