is the news depressing anyone else?

I turn on the TV to watch the news and everything on it is gloom and doom. There's gotta be something positive out there to report on right? The only good thing i've heard is we MIGHT pull out of the recession later this year. I'm kind of doubting that. Anyone else here how china wants to go to an international currency system? Says America's money is tainted. I get so angry watching the news anymore. Suppose I was just wondering if anyone shared my opinion. BLAH!

X2 Nobody wants to hear about "good" news because it isn't interesting enough, they want to see what kind of messed up thing happened. Good stories don't make their keep to have them aired so why bother? And yes it will always be this way.

I'd say the news is disgusting more than depressing. It's all editorializing and blatant fear-mongering.

the news sucks... its always "someone got killed" or "economic crisis" its depressing, i dont bother watching it.
