Is my blower motor dead?

I have a 2002 GP Coupe. I was just sitting at a stop light a couple hours ago, and all of a sudden my A/C quit. I tried turning the AC off, and just putting it on heat or whatever, but that wouldn't even blow. If I turn the music in my car off, and crank the A/C up to 5, I can hear it "click" inside the dash, like the motor is trying to turn on, but nothing happens. If I turn it any lower than 5, that click is gone. I've already checked all the fuses in the glove box, and under the hood, that deal with HVAC, so I can rule out a dead fuse being the culprit.

I had this problem with my car when I first got it 5 years ago, and they fixed it twice. The 1st time, they replaced the blower motor, which "fixed" it for about 2 weeks. The 2nd time, they replaced the blower motor resistor, and ever since then it has worked just fine. Altogether, those repairs cost about 1000 bucks. I'm pretty sure I got ripped off, but I'd like to NOT pay 1000 bucks to get it fixed this time....

My question now is, is it the blower motor that went? Or the blower motor resistor?
 


Under the dash on the passenger side, get a cheap test light at like auto zone. There is one connector on the blower motor unplug it and turn the fan switch on and see if you have power, if you do it is the motor, if not it is a problem with the resistor or switch.
 
OK I will probably try that out tomorrow.... If it is the motor, would it be easy to fix myself? Or for that matter, would the resistor be an easy fix?
