Is it possible to remove engraved writing to custom rims?

Hey, I have some 20" Player rims that say Player on them. I was wondering if there was any way to remove the engraved writing on them?

Or try painting the engraved letters a silver that closely matches the lip itself. Would still be visable, but not as bold as being in black on a silver lip.
 
I found someone on kijji that could remove it so i might go to them but I'm going to call some other rim shops in my city, see what there prices are.
