• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Is it just me or are there others?

So the past few days ive been having have work done on my ZZP Headers. The crossover pipe on the front header was not cut straight the cut was at an angle, The flange on the rear header was warped pretty bad. Both flanges and both headers to the heads needed to be resurfaced. there was nothing flat about them. and not done yet, lol, the flange on the downpipe that bolts to the flange on the rear header was warped as well. So i had the guy cut both flanges off and weld me up some nice 3 bolt flanges on the both downpipe and header. they a smidge off the crossover pipe to make the cut straight and they also resurfaced the primary flanges so those are flat now. Feels like u get crap for such a high price.

Anybody else have these problems with your zzp headers?

seriously? ive only heard good things about them. and zzp gets cut down another notch in my book, hooray.

Same with Reptile...when we put his on they had no issues at all. In fact it took us longer to get the old Pacesetters off than to put the new ZZP ones on.

Wish i had that luck. During everything with the XPZ setup i was doing, the motor had been pulled 4 times in a month and a half. everytime it was pulled u could see on the exhaust manifold gaskets that there was a leak on #1 and #6 cylinder and also the DP.

Must have just been an error in that set, ZZP usually has the best headers on the market except maybe TOGs.

I just installed ZZP headers on my car a couple weeks ago.. No issues whatsoever. Everything sealed up nicely and there are no leaks. The quality and fit were excellent and I would def highly recommend them to anyone willing to spend the cash.

Ya musta been but why just 1 set. U never hear anything bad besides my set. And i took care of these things before they went on, never dropped, hit them against anything.

Every company can have a bad product or bad egg in a huge batch. Apparently you got it. I think i would let ZZP know if you bought them new.

Deffinatly would have sent them back to ZZP if that happened to me.

& I gotta say it; PaceSetter's aren't that hard to remove.

ya thats completely true. I didnt bother to send them back because the answer i wouldve gotten through email wouldve been "they are used so there isnt anything we can do about it". screw zzp anymore

Why not replace them with v-band?!

the shop i took them 2 didnt have any v-band and i definetly didnt wanna wait. i got a week to finish this thing and get everything buttoned up before i load her on the trailer and head to sioux falls, sd for a tune. maybe next winter i will try those v-bands
