Is anyone running these tires (255/45/18)?

Ok, i bought a set of (4) tires, which are 255/45/18. I have a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP. My rims are 18 x 7 1/2 (i believe) and have an offset of appx. 45mm. If anyone that has a grand prix or a w-body is running these, let me know. I want to make sure that they fit before i put them on the rims.

I am running 245/45/18's myself. You can probably run them, but if your car is lowered, you are run a good chance of hitting the fender. I think you should clear the inside towards the struts ok with those.

I know some people have run 9" wide rims and have been ok without rubbing and seeing how your rims are 7 1/2" wide that wont be a problem. But do you run the problem of the tire being to big for the rim. The max I did at size you have was 245.

I have KYB AGX struts and SLP lowering springs on my car. Right now, my suspension is pretty stiff. I have approx. 1" or so gap on the front and back. I'll find out this weekend if they'll fit, as i'm gonna get 1 tire mounted and fit it on the front, then the back to see if they'll work.

they should work, but you might rub the strut plate. keep an eye on that side
i have 245/45/18's on my imp, no problems

Well, i got the rims and tires on the car. I sometimes get a rub, but nothing serious. No interference w/ suspsension and no rubbing on the body. I'm thinking inner fenders may be the culprit. I've got pics and i'll post them up when i get a chance. Thanks for all the input.
