Is a 97 gtp's parts intechangeable with an 04 gt's?

My co-worker is selling his 97 GTP for 500$, that's a pretty good deal, it wont pass safety and its sitting in his garage doing nothing.

I drive an 04 GT, I'm wondering if those rims and tires would fit mine, and if i can take the supercharger out it?

and furthermore, all the other parts aside from body. is it worth it to buy as a parts car?

not too much are the same with the two vehicles
the lower engine internals are the same and the rims should fit. The supercharger from a 97 is a gen III and what comes on a 2004 is a gen V.....I dont know if any of the suspension is the same or not...........you could part the car out and probably make some money depending on the condition of your car
You could sell the SC and heads to someone who wants to do a top swap.......

if you part it let me no on super charger and heads:)
 
Give him $400 for the car and then Take all the top swap parts off it supercharger heads lim balancer etc. and sell a top swap kit to some one for $500. Then you can take what ever else is good and sell it dirt cheap and still make money.
 


in that case? anyone need parts? I'm basically getting a new set of rims from the deal and a couple of sets of tires. so everything else is up for grabs before i junk it.
