Hi all, I just bought a silver '99 GTP and will hopefully spend the majority of my time searching posts and pictures so I can get this thing running. It had an engine fire, so I need lots of pics of the front valve cover area as well as general info. Anyway, here I am, look forward to meeting you all!

I dont have many pics but i will give you what i have.
 
Did you have to get a new wiring harnes? All the plugs have a different connector so they can only hook up to what they were ment to hook up to.

I don't have a new wiring harness yet, but I'll at least need to get a few clips. Aside from the actual plug wires, I think most of the rest of my wires are intact. I will do some continuity tests and reinsulate them. I know the junkyard near my house doesn't have any GTPs, but there are a number of other same-vintage 3.8 GMs that I imagine will have similar clips. Oh, and it looks like I'll need to take the valve cover and/or supercharger off, there is a puddle of oil accumulated in front of the front passengerside most supercharger bolt.
