hey whats up people, my name is Jason and I have a 1999 grand prix gtp. I bought the car about 6 months ago. Recently the tranny has failed on me and I am no other choose but to replace it. I dont want to sell it because the car has potential to be a fast running car. So thats where I stand right now. I am pulling the tranny and motor to build it. That is why I am on this site so I can hear from people that have done it already and get good leads on what i have to do. Really I am looking to get about 300 hp out of it but I know it can acheive way more. Thanks

builds are fun. 300 hp is easy to get to, but 300 actual whp is another story. A good cam and head setup with some other odds and ends your on you way to making some good power.
 
i dont know if you ever check out zz performance but they seem to have good items for building. they have a stage 2 performance package, is this worth the money and hype they say?
