• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

intermittently car starts and shuts right off

Im not sure about cold start problems, but one thing to consider for shut off while hot/running, that not many people are not aware of is the oil pressure switch.
It will intermittently cause shut off. For a quick test You can remove and take a sniff of it ,it will have the familiar electrical burn smell if its shorting out.

That's weird, I just changed the low psi switch. But unfortunately it's still cutting off.

I checked the fuel regulator and it works great..

Im a lil loss on what else theres to check other than that im stillng thinking it may be the ignition switch

He's talking about the oil pressure switch/sensor by the oil filter. Quick way to test it.. unplug it. Doesn't do a damn thing for us anyhow.

Yeah the low pressure oil switch, I just changed them on both regals bout 5months ago.

Funny bc everything I can think of that can cause a stall checks out fine

Time for another compression test and/or oil pressure test.....gotta be one of these....though 140k is just breaking it in(always had good maintenance too). Weird...
