Intermittent interior/dash lights off

A few times in the past few months, I thought I had seen my dash lights flicker. Well this morning, they flickered and all interior lights went out for about 10 seconds while I was on the freeway. Headlights and radio were still on and working fine. But the dash lights, door switch lights, and radio and hvac lights all went out. Where do I begin with the issue?

could be a ground coming apart off the tranny bell housing. the wire can start to come free of the eyelet. or a loose battery cable.

I'm hoping one of those is it so I don't have to start wire hunting for a fray or another loose wire.

seen this here a few times, some even stall out. grounds on the tranny are best checked on a cold engine. you need to reach under the exhaust. smaller wires are the grounds you want to look at.
