i have an 03 3.8 auto gt non supercharged. problem is i get a throttle position code. replaced it. still have the problem. car will idle at the highest 3200 rpm in nutral. it will do 60 65 mph by its self. i am burning up my breaks. i have checked all vacume lines we have taken an ohm meter to the wires and ground and all looks good. thinking intake gaskets

A code P0121 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
TPS has intermittent open or short internally
Harness is rubbing and causing an open or short in the wiring
Bad connection at the TPS
Bad PCM (less likely)
Water or corrosion in connector or sensor
OBD-II Trouble Code: P0121 Throttle Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Range/Performance Problem
You said you already replaced the Throttle Position Sensor, so skip the things related to that. Check your wiring, Start at the grounds, then look through the wiring harness and make sure no wires have rubbed through. It shouldn't be your pcm, so I would skip even checking that for now.

k thanks I will try that the lot where we bought the car was being dicks and I went off on them because they wanted me to pay to have it hooked up and 2 hours latter they called back and said they would do it no charge so if I cant figure it out I'm going to run it in fri. I will let you all know what I or they find out.
so finaly got it fixed!!!!!!!!!! computer there was a short in the computer between the tps and the map or maf dont remember exactly. took them 3 hours to check all wires and follow it back to the computer. i hope this will help others.. thanks all for the input. now with that fixed time for some upgrades.
