Interior switch leds

Nice item - im working on mine soon as i get my body work done. I will be following to see how ya do - door switches are the easiest. Im still working out HVAC/Gear/Speedo cluster.

same things i ended up going with except i paid $3.00 for them on ebay, but i only got 50 of them. I also am thinking that i might do a write-up on the process of changing all the interior lights (switches, DIC, Radio, etc...)

look first, there are write ups, i am curious tho how you do the HVAC and dash cluster. ive already got my door switches underway. but thoes other 2 i dunno about, problem i found is the HVAC knobs are red inside making it harder to change thoes no matter the colour of LED...

Just brain storming here but I know from having my old Grand Am the Alero's had blue plastic under the rubber coating so if they fit that would work. I do not know if they fit though.

wonder if you can take finger nail polish to them, like when removing the orange from the cluster needles?

Tell me more about removing the orange from the cluster needles I am interested!

^^^ has a great idea. you can tamper with another dash cluster, hvac from a junkyard and experiment with that, til u get a good solution on getting the orange tint to come off. Saving u any mistake on ur only dash.

thats what ive been doing, ive got about 4 gear shifter inserts to try, so far nailpolish remove is good but too good lol.. ive got extra knobs ive been tyring to dremel into submition

sure you spend a few bucks on waste, but sure a hell better then effing up my stuff on my car, after all its my daily driver i need a tried and true method before i do anything
