I can't wait to see what you come up with for the GPS. I have one and it's a pain trying to get it to stick to the window. Every hour or so it will fall and I have to catch it while going 75 on the highway. Not fun haha.
 


If a person didn't want/could get along without, I'd cut out the DIC, cut and reshape the dash bezel and install the GPS there. ;)

I personally wouldn't want to lose my DIC. It's too cool for me. =P

I know another way I could see it being done, also requiring some heavy work, but I don't think it'd work too well for monkey with his iPhone dock if he has it where I think it is...
 
yeah i havent really thought it through entirely yet as to how im going to do it.. ive found a power source im going to splice into for always on power keyed power... how i will mount the unit will have to be a rainy day project as my time is spent working on the exterior currently.
