Interior lights replaced with LED's - WOW what a difference

I skimmed threw this and didn't see any definite answer but I have a 01 GP GT and I thought the previous owner removed the door panel lights and I took all 4 out and I didn't see a harness anywhere so I assume the car doesn't have them? But I'm stumped why they would put the lens without a light it's such a small thing to add so I can't see how it doesn't have it.. Can someone please tell me before I take the door panels off and waste time thanks!
 


You could run your own wiring from the floor lights into the doors but to be honest if you upgrade all your other lights to LEDs it will be plenty bright anyway.
 
Another question I bought 9 LED 44mm bulbs for the dome off ebay for like $5 now I know there cheap etc hence $5! lol But when I installed them they both flickered on like 4 of the LEDs wouldn't light up just very dim flicker.. Now I'm afraid that if I pay say $10-15 a bulb there not going to work can anyone recommend a bulb they used I want super white I mean I should go red but I use my dome light sometimes and don't want to barely see stuff.. Any help is great thanks!
 


I have the same ones in my car and yes they work fine but I'm not talking about 194 bulbs.. If you read it you will notice I said "9 LED 44mm bulbs" 44mm being festoon bulbs I don't have a issue with the rest of the car..

miss read that.. i don't have any 44's in my car. can't help you there.

I have a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GT2 with heated seats. Inside the climate control (CC) I have a couple of lights that burnt out and I want to replace them. I already took the CC out and opened the unit to make sure I had access to the lights. They are soldered in but not a problem. I just need to know if anyone knows the voltage (12v or 14v) and size of bulb (3mm, 4mm, 4.7mm) to put in there. I am not talking about the led bulbs but regular two prong incandescent bulbs.

2001 grand prix here. This might sound stupid but this thread is long. I'm sure somebody have the science down to this by now

Which LEDS and how many do I need to order for my car to replace the other bulbs? I'm asking because I'm sure somebody with the year and gt car as me have already replaced their bulbs with LEDS

what are you looking for? Just get them on amazon like i did. (read my thread) and do it yourself. Too easy not to do it.
 


hmm ok just thought maybe help out a members company... im in Canada too so amazon would be better for shipping I guess
