Interior lights from red to blue

How hard is it to change the interior lights from red to blue. I'm guessing you just take the dash apart and solder in the lights where the old ones are. So sick of the red, blue looks way better.

Actually, the majority of the light that are red had rubber diffuser covers on them. All you have to do is take the switches apart and get blue ones. The problem is that so far, i have been unable to find them. This would be easier then soldering new bulbs in. Hope this helps.

Also, so of the parts, like the knobs, are actually molded in red, so you'd have to get different knobs. I know that there are some GM cars out there that have clear knobs (under the gray coating), that are interchangable.

I have been reading up on with other threads and realize what I have to do, its pretty easy. Just need a place to get resistors and the bulbs.
See your located in Ohio, I'm in cleveland right now. How far away are you?

the one problem your goiong to run into is...with pontiacs, the manufacture decided to coat the back of the gauges and hvac with a red film....so you can get new gauges or do like i did and scrape that stuff off! after that its really easy. i can get pics if you would like to see just let me know!

they are out of my bird but i am 99% sure the gauges are the same! and i will get some up here for you tonight when i get home!
