Interior Lighting Issue

Hi guys,

All the lights just went black on my air controls, radio, and DIC. The Dash lights still work fine. (No the dimmer switch is not in the low position). Any ideas on what might be causing this?

Also the indicator light for my fog lamp switch wouldn't come on so I replaced that with a new switch and still no dice. Thoughts?

In case it matters its a 2000 GT Canada spec car.

Fuses are good. Ive checked most of the basics. Before this i had a problem with the radio lights flickering and flashing random gang signs at me lol. But that I attributed to just the head-unit itself (on my 3rd one at $220 a pop). I read on a different post that a bad dimmer switch can cause something like this to happen but I dont think its that either.

Mine haven't exactly went out yet, but sometimes when I start my car all my lights around the radio (radio, fan control, etc) will go dark for a split second and come back on. But my dash lights and my hud display don't do it.

Idk if im gonna end up in a similar situation to yours but the first step I would take would be to test for power and check bulbs. If it isn't that I would say check the dimmer switch.

But maybe Im going in the completely wrong direction with this. Hope it helped tho.

expieriencing the same thing, dic raidio ac, all dark. it comes and goes. when i move the dimmer switch dic gets brighter everything else darker... if you figured it out let me know
