• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Intercooler

What's good Kenny, there isn't a really cheap way per say unless you catch a killer deal on a intercooler. Money wise your looking at about 700.00 total. That's with a deal. You can do cheaper but it's gonna take some killer deals lol. Jayroc (a local gp friend) just Intercooled his engine. I'm sure be wouldn't mind showing you the ropes. Hit my phone if you want to meet up.

Cheapest Brand new way would be with WBS

Cheapest way all together is to spend awhile searching the forums, and buying everything individually. The IC core is the single most expensive part, then the FMHE.

I bought my core from a member for $250, frozen boost fmhe for $180 brand new, bosch pump from zzp for $100 brand new, used my old HID relay harness to power it, bought the hoses and fittings for around $40 from Home Depot Racing. Custom high capacity alum IC tank was put together with pieces from CXracing for about $80. So $650 with the best stuff plus the tank that's better than anything available off the shelf from any of the vendors. I would never even remotely consider buying a complete vendor kit at the prices they ask

Aight well I guess I just catch a deal with someone on here... Seems like the best way honestly.

There are good deals but they take time and you have to be fast. You probable will have less than 12 hours to get one put up here.

Aight that's cool... Seems like there are a lot of incomplete kits being sold as well.

If I was doing mine over I would pick up one of sseilmnop's phenolic cores, a frozen boost fmhe, a bosch pump and my CX tank. Then you would have the ultimate IC setup with way better parts than any of the complete kits and still have less $$$ into it than a kit.

Take your pick, almost any one of them could be made to fit somewhere in a gtp.

If you are going to piece a kit together you should Def go with Sseilmnop's IC cores.. You won't regret it.. then just buy a HE, pump, LIM, and reservoir separately. . That's what I did and love it.

You can also get the modded LIM from him as well
