intercooler questions



it will work, but not efficiently. the oulet on your blower is offset a little compared to the genIII stuff.
 
because im the man. the blower outlet moves towards the snout slightly, which is why you can just cut open a genIII LIM a little more and have it work fine. the intercooler core you cant just move like that, so there will be a step. see what im getting at?
 
Are you trying to make it look stock or what?

you can always use aftermarket tubing and elbows to get it lined up, had to do this on a svt junk focus a few years back. had line up issues so just bought the pvc and rubber clamps from depot and never had a problem.

Just get an air/water IC and mount it in the trunk.
 
there have been pleanty of people that have used the Gen 3 IC on a Gen V. Its not ideal, but if you can get it for cheap, it will work and still be effective. Shawn Mayes did it when he swapped up to a Gen V and still made great power
