Intercooler Installation Cost?!!

I've been reading a few write-ups on how to install an intercooler for an '02 GTP and I feel like it's beyond my capability. How much would I expect to pay for having a shop install it? The last thing I installed was my CAI, has anyone else installed an intercooler on their own with as much experience as a CAI? I know that an intercooler would obviously be a lot more in depth.
 


all you have to do is remove the blower and put it on then the blower back on, engine wise. not that hard. if your lim gaskets are factory still change them too. its like 10 more bolts.

im sure most shops wouldn't want the job and would just toss a large price at you so you'd go away.
 
One of my main concerns is the fuel rails. I read somewhere that you need modified fuel rails. Can you buy those online somewhere and is it difficult to install new fuel rails?
 
zzp sells them, or you can spend some money and get fuel logs. you may have to change the fiting on the fuel line to the rail, not a 100% sure on that part.

the fuel rail is held down with 4 nuts, one at each corner. unplug the injectors, then lift the rail with the injectors up and off the engine.
