can anyone who has it done show full pics of the ic setup? im trying to decide to run the lines from the pass side straight to pump and res, or run them around the driver side around the back to get more capacity in the lines and i can only find pics here and there not the whole install

Bottom of RES (exit) - IC pump In - IC Pump out - FMHE bottom (fluid goes up and through?) - FMHE TOP to the IC Core (which side Front or Rear Guessing front) then out the back side to Top Of Res?

front view of fmhe
routing of lines
pump location
res if you have one

Thanks

I donno if I understand what you describe, let me tell you mine....

From the Bottom of the FMHE line goes to the Pump, line goes to the core, line exits the core and enters my reservior from the top, line exits the bottom of the Reservior and goes to the top of my FMHE....

You will be the first new design core most likely, the lines will be going out the drivers side for better fitment, just something to consider.

OH HAHA Good thing ya told me then i thought they'd be going in the normal spot
hows that gonna work with the crossover and all? ok?

The new design will be a LOT easier as far as the routing of the lines go. You won't be replacing the lines every week from the belt eating them up. :)

I'm sending you your tracking number now BTW

that would be great for the rest of us who could use this in the future and curious what it looks like and involves

Good idea with routing the lines on the opposite side, I've thought for years someone should simply turn the inner core around, glad someone finally did it. I've thought the routing the hoses through the belts has always been a dumb idea IMO. One of the many reasons I never went with the ZZP style core.

BTW, the hoses above the crossover won't hurt a thing. My inlet line on my IC enters above the crossover. The heat from it doesn't affect it whatsoever. In fact on a 100 degree day or any day for that matter you can touch the metal barb (which the hose is attached too) and its cool or cold to the touch in a hot engine bay.

BTW, i'm in for pics of this core uninstalled and installed. If my inner core ever fails (which I hope it never does because its a welded in core), i'll definately buy one of these. Hopefully you'll still be around if that ever happens. I expect to get many years out of mine.....

any pics yet? well duh guess not being mines gonna be the first one HAHA guess i gotta take ALOT of pics

If you plan on running that same reservior I recommended to you I have a good idea on how to route you intercooler hoses, if your interested in hearing my idea anyway. PM if so....

If im the first with this design ill def be taking LOTS of pics if someones willing to help me post them!
ill pm you now man
