Intake Leak & Coolant Leak

I have a Aftermarket, what looks like, Custom CAI. The tube has a small whole in the top and one in the bottom that are less than a half inch in diameter each. I want to plug them but Im not sure with what. The tube is like a normal stretch tube, but there is something that was wrapped around it that the hose is as stiff as fiber glass, and its black. Can i just wrap it in fiberglass and be done with it? Or is this a no no?

The second is a my coolant leak, it is leaking onto a pulley that is just off to the left and bellow the coil packs. Its the center most pulley... its collecting in a grove above that pulley and is a significant leak. I went from overfilled by a little, to below the cold level while running at Operating Temp in about a month and a half id say... Im just not sure where its coming from... i have no idea where its coming from. Any Ideas?

I have pictures, if I cant figure out how to directly upload them, I'll make a Photobucket and link it. My Canon camera takes too good of a picture for me to uplaod it via the attachment button, its 3.4MB for the smallest picture :p

Re: Intale Leak & Coolant Leak

Your coolant elbow on the LIM is probably leaking. It's a black 90 dgree elbow that comes out of the intake and goes into the alternator bracket. Should be right above the water pump pulley.

I was fairly positive that it wasnt going to, but I wanted others opinions as well. And the duct tape would bother me a little.... so maybe I'll t duct tape the whole thing.

For the picture problem just open it with paint and reduce the size by 50%. This should bring the size down to 600k or less which will work fine.

Make sure you open the picture after it has been uploaded to PhotoBucket. Then copy the URL for that opened picture. I was trying, like a dumbarse, to copy the thumbnail URL and the picture was only 150 X 140 pixels. LOL
