Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Insulting your driving.

And if a cop ever gives you problems for it just calmly explain that you are just practicing control. Only if you are in a crowded parking lot with people walking around would you be unlikely to have the cop side with you.

as I tell my wife, if I didn't want to go fast I would be driving a different car, but I put the time and money into parts, now im going to use it

just like tiger cubs play. but they are training and dont know it.

playing in a open snow covered lot is about the best training you can get. this way when the car jumps out from under you know how to deal with it.

people who think bad of this are shallow minded people with no street smarts most of the time. ( unless you slid into their car ) lol

Couldn't have said it better. I even think there should be a law for the states and provinces in the snow belt, that a mandatory control in slippery condition course should be taken.

Tell her you are training to save her life one day.

Couldn't ****ing agree more TwinV6GTP, I'm used to normal freeway/interstate speeds in snow/ice and all but the worst whiteouts, and I think I terrify my girlfriend at times because of it... But nothing is near as terrifying to me then the possible ****tard who doesn't understand how to handle the conditions.

Ever have some moron from florida/texas who's never EVER driven in snow fly past you and cause a wreck or spin out, nearly taking you with them? I have, and it infuriates me to no end, almost bad enough to grab my breaker bar and go pound the **** out of their car/truck

They don't need to be from Florida or Texas to do that, either...and they're usually in a Mustang...

Or a Camaro or anything really, I watched a girl in a sunfire doing like 75 an inch of snow on the road lose it and smack a guard rail. Other drivers scare me way more than just icy roads because I go slow enough I can compensate if I start to lose it. I always drive within my ability. Plus another reason slowkar is slow.

no, no, your right! but those two just seem to have the least snow drivers off the top of my head. in general the southern states make the laugh when it comes to snow, "oh no, you got an inch and shut down the entire city? **** you! I had to walk to school in 2 and a half foot once"

From the time I got my license ... I always have goofed around in a parking lot etc. That's a great place to learn what the car is going to do. Took my sister out in a Prelude on a snowy night so she could learn how to drive in snow. Before that..the parents would have her stay home. I'm saying.. uh.. teach her how to drive.

How does she even know you're doing it?If you're doing it with her in the car and she's asked you not to do that - then stop doing it. Screw around on your own time.

If she knows you're doing it on your own somehow, I would talk to her about it and tell her that its upsetting to you. Have her explain her logic if she has any. Explain that you are experimenting in a safe environment and that you are ultimately gaining skills and knowledge that could save your, or her life. Calmly remind her that those are skills she DOES NOT have, and will never have. Her logic appears to be like saying an athlete is a bad athlete because, as they practice, they may be putting themselves in harms way. That just isn't logical. Is she dumb or something :th_laugh-lol3:?

I'm also a fan of messing around in the snow. As already stated, it teaches a person how their car will behave when it is no longer going straight. This is especially useful in snowy or icy climates where the chances of an unexpected slide are common. It scares me to think that most people on the road have no idea how to recover from a slide. Personally, I think everyone should have to pass an advanced driving school as part of their licensure to drive on public roads.

Good luck.

If that is real, I hope that charges were brought against that moron. Endangering the lives of the other people in the car and on the track isn't something I would take lightly. Seems like it was fake considering he was able to obtain the other various footage.

As a woman myself, your gf is bad mouthing her, why not say something insulting back, say SHUT UP you have no licence so you cant judge me! And if you want to judge go get your licence then that way I can judge you then. Or something along that line

The only person who insults my driving is my mom. Anything past 1/4 throttle is BAD! And I drive better than her, so yeah. My friends just go whoo-hoo or "man I can't believe how hard these 3.8's pull" lol. From a stop that is
