Installing the Coolant Temperature Sensor Problems



If this sensor was bad, what kinda of problems would it cause??
Motor running rich? Bad gas mileage??
 
It was cutting my gas mileage down a few miles per gallon, as well as giving me a check engine light, and low coolant light. No other problems were noted.

I'll be in touch about the lim, guys. I've got a buddy that has experience replacing them that is going to help me, but he may have one lying around his shop.
