I have an 05 Grand Prix GXP and the material on the headliner seems thick, but has a little slouch. I just bought a 17" Flip down dvd player for my son and there is no rear-centered dome lights to mount it to, only individual lights over each rear seat. I'm wondering if people thing the flip down will be too much weight (listed at 6 pounds) for the headliner to the point I should get some adhesive spray, cut a hole where the dvd player will be, and mount some wood or metal sheeting to the roof of my car and drill into that?
