Installed retrofits & DRL delete. Help..

When I hit the Highbeams the lights go off, the indicator stays lit up as if the highs are engaged.

I ordered new H1 bulbs and the relay from TRFS, going to wait it out and try upon arrival.

With the retrofit source harness linked by somedude I shouldn't have to repin anything correct? It will be plug and play?

I did not change any wires on the GM factory blue end of the plug. I simply swapped the white and blue wire pins.

Harness is plug and play. Only thing that has to be done is swtiching the pins which it sounds like you've already done. Before I had projectors and hit the high beams on mine it did the same thing yours is. Dash light on headlights off. Once you get the relay, harness, and projectors wired up correctly it will all work perfectly.

So even with TRFS Harness I have to switch the pins on the factory car harness?
I have not touched anything on the car. I have only swapped the two pins on the aftermarket harness. After it did not work I switched it back

This is what he said
Once you receive the motocontrol harness (which is a relay harness that also makes the high beams work), there will be a blue connector with 3 pins (this connects to the blue connector on the car). Just swap the blue and white pins in this connector and you should be good to go.

Are you sure you connected the wiring as I mentioned? everyone mentioning swapping the pins is the same exact thing as joining the wires as I have explained. You need H1 bulbs do not come in Hi/Lo the projector has the Hi/Lo cutoff flap built in.

TRFS Bi/Xenon Harness showed up today. Swapping the two pins in the bi xenon harness and trying it out tonight. I do not plan on touch the blue plug on the car.

Hope it works.

So there are no wires coming out of the headlight besides the ones for the halo? The solenoid for the projector has no polarity so it can be wired either way.

Can you take some pictures of the headlights front and back, might be able to help identify where and if you have the high beam shroud.

High beam has nothing to with the bulb you use, the relay harnesses you have bought both do the same thing, they draw the power from the battery instead the factory wiring on the car. These 9007s have two filaments in the bulb, when on low beam they use one filament and when you flick to high they cut the low beam filament usually and use the high beam filament, otherwise the bulb would get too hot. The Morimoto harness keeps the power flowing even when high beam is flicked on because otherwise you would lose your lights as the only place you are getting power is from the low beam signal.

Photo of the rear before I installed. There are two sets coming out of the headlight the one with the capacitor is for halos.

If you want more pics of the lights let me know.

Only if the TRS harness isn't pinned for 9007 which it might be.
And you would want to re pin the trs harnesses if needed not the factory one.

Alright. Ill try the harness without repining first and then swap if needed.

I already tried this on the Chinese harness.. hope TRS works.

I have to flip the pins on the factory harness, not the retrofit harness correct?

Yes. iirc the factory harness should be the male side so you have to switch the pins on that. The TRS harness says it's for 9007 but the pins still need switching for it to work correctly.
