Installed hids and got some questions



I don't think some people understand that a capacitor is not a cap, it is used to change the fluctuation in the power source in the case of DRL. It smoothes out the power fluctuation in DRL which causes a flicker. HID's require a constant smooth flow of power.
If your flicker is there when the headlights are switched on, that is a different issue, and it is with the HID system.

Change the fluctuation? Caps can be used to SMOOTH out the fluctuation, but we're working with DC current.

DRL's cause flickering because the voltage is too low...
