inner tie rods

Somebody tell me if the inner tie rods on our 3800s are weak points or not. I just installed my new rack n pinion about 1-2yrs ago....OEM acdelco rack. No reason my inner tie rods should have any play in them already. I get into boost sometimes but not all the time, this rack should still be solid. Both inner tie rods have some play

What is some??

I go by a 1-10 scale at work, it's not worth my time to recommend parts at a 2-4ish on the bad scale as they don't move enough to make noise nor do they move enough to create more tire wear from being loose.
 
Can't answer your original question but I have 2 brand new moog inner tie rods for sale. Could save you a few dollars compared to buying them from a retailer.
 
Yeah not enough play for me to change them right now mind you I did 3 racks in two nights bc the first two were defective. Lol not up for the aggregation of putting in a rack right now
