injector swap question

IIRC, I think they flow less so it would be a downgrade.

If your going to swap in anything, at least get 42.5#. Whatever you do though, the PCM will need to be tuned for the different injectors. Otherwise your car will either run pig rich or won't run at all because of being too rich.

Looking at your mod list you DON'T need injectors right now, it won't do anything for you...

LS1= #28lb
LT1= #24lb
GTP = boosted so #33lb stock...

Get Ford Lightning or '03/'04 Cobra injectors...but FYI, your no where near needing them for your GTP.

i am in need cause one of mine is shot...and i was just trying to figure out a cheap way to remedy it...since im hella broke at this time...

you have to swap them out as a set if you are going to do so. If you need one, just find one from a junkyard, ed morad, etc.... or just buy one new if you can afford it.

you have to swap them out as a set

What? Where'd you get this? If one injector is bad and you know which one it is then you trash the crap one and put in a different one. Riceburner...I am upgrading to #42.5lb. injectors here soon and you can buy my whole injector set from me and I'll throw in new O-Rings for $50 + shipping if you want to do that...shoot me a PM if you want.

how can you just put in one 42# injector and run the rest stock injector size? Dont you have to tune for one specific injector size? I meant when upgrading you must have one specific set size that you are upgrading to, you can't mix and match....

I was going towards the fact you said he had to re-tune it for swapping one bad stocker for one good stocker.

they are different part numbers, so they should be different....from the NA to the GTP that is. Atleast, that is what I have read. I never actually have swapped them out to see.

hum cause i have a misfire on #4 and swapped the "problem" injector but code did not follow....leading me to think its the coil...
