injector options

i was curious if there were higher flowing injectors from other vehicles that will work on our cars, without modification, basically "plug n play"

Ford injectors...from the Cobra or Lightning...

Called green tops.

42 lb'ers.

Work like a champ, and would probably help your setup since you need to be running a dumb sized pulley on that NIC cam.

According to GPF.

Anything goes in, just change IFR then you're done.

According to the rest of the world, not so much.

Green tops are just as cheap in design as lucas injectors. cobra injectors are skinny blues, lightings are the green tops.

Skinny blues have an odd spray pattern that wouldnt be so useful in our engines. See youtube.

damn was hoping for cars i could easily find in a junk yard. snag the injectors and bring them to school to be flow benched and sonic cleaned.

It'd have to be something that makes quite a bit of power per cylinder.

Most things will have injectors in the 20 lb range. Less than your stockers.

IFR is injector flow rate.

that answers my question about if i needed to change my tuning for higher flowing injectors.
