Injector data question?!

I need info on these injectors, I bought them off a guy who was supposed to get me data to tune with, buy won't answer my calls... Bummer

I'm ready to tune my car but don't have the info to do so, anyone that can chime in yo help it would be much appteciated

Did he tell u anything about them? 45.2 lb is that what I says? They look an awful lot like the stock injectors that come on the north * engine

theres a setting to change in hpt for the injectors i understand. tell it what your using and it changes it iirc.

There is a flow rate table you can change for the size of the injectors but technically you still need to know a few other points of data for them to be correct. Like offset vs volts and offset vs inj pw vs MAP.

Quality injectors should come with data to plug in but who knows if you'll find that. I'm sure most just change the flow rate and start tuning it anyway.

They came with some info etched into each injector making me think they were flow matched at one time, when I bought them, he said he thought they were old style Lucas injectors. I also bought a used s1x cam off of the guy, I only paid 160 for the cam and injectors, so I'm not too upset. But I wish he would've kept his word and got the info for me, I drove from Columbus to Cleveland to buy the stuff from him. I've done some research on the injectors and have verified they are 42lb for sure. But I've seen a lot of people use them on seadoo jet skis and other weird applications.

I wouldn't mess with those injectors. I think you got hosed on them.

Left to right:
1) OEM # 25313185
Blazer, Envoy, Bravada / 28 lb/hr
2) Stock 1999 Alero V6 / 19 lb/hr
3) RC Engineering SL2-370 / 35 lb/hr
4) Lucas 42.5 / lb/hr

I honestly don't think that's what they are, there are several injectors made with that body and mine aren't red at the bottom. I've seen 42lb injectors on reputable sites with the same black and green body

You have HPtuners now. Pop 'em in and see what they do. You should be able to figure out their flow rate based on how much you need to scale the stock IFR.

That's probably what I'm going to do, but I'm going to try and find several references with the same data and start with that IF I can.

They look like the Alero injectors that spade posted above.

However, if they are 42.5 lucas injectors, this table should get you pretty close to correct if you enter these numbers as shown.

Those are mult-tech injectors if I recall and they are probably off of a turbo Buick. The old school one AKA the LC2 3.8l sfi turbo. I have a set of those that are 42-pound hour

A lot of people still sell these injectors. I've seen them on racetronixs web site. And the thing I noticed different about my injectors is that the colored ring at the bottom is black, on the Alero injectors they are red.
