Inferno hood does not set right

Has anyone had a problem getting the inferno hood to line up and sit right on the car? I just got mine and started to test fit and on the nose of the hood on the drivers side it is sitting higher then the passenger side. The hood sits just above the driver side fender so its noticable from the side view. The bump stops are as low as they can go and there is no CAI that is in the way. I've taken the cross bars that are bolted on across the engine (unsure what they are called) off to see if they are the problem and does not help at all. i've pulled the head lights off to get a better look and cannot find anything. PFYC.com has told me to take the drivers side hood strut off completely and switch it to the passenger side of the hood but I would have to drill 2 screw holes because there are none on that side. Anyone have any solutions are had problems like this? Any help would be appreciated!

just give me the hood and your headaches will be gone and worry free. lol jk. just take the strut off and see it that works. and if it does then you either drill the 2 holes on the passenger side or run with out the strut like my buddy does
