Inexpensive ways to do this?

I have a graphite leather interior and I want to do either a black/red or a black/silver theme on the interior, ideas?
I most likely don't wanna paint the dash (unless someone posts a real rood pic, I might change my mind), but other than that I'm open to suggestions. Trying to keep it somewhat cheap, like I'd love black/red seats, but don't have $900 for it.
Like the interior on this GTO that was for sale is ****ing sweet http://www.grandprixforums.net/f92/2006-pontiac-gto-a4-must-sale-17626.html

I know on PFYC there is an interior leather replacement set you can buy for somewhere around 750 i think. Comes with everything, including pieces for the door.

I heard they fit pretty loose, which is what turned me off to them.
And it DOES say they include rears so...

oh thats cool... if they fit loose, pull out a needle and thread and tightem up..

personally im "cheap" id rather make my own covers.. infact thats now going on the list lol..

I've been cautioned to stay away from vinyl paint, and I don't want to go cheap. Give me 2-3 years and I'll have that Katzkin leather set. =P

i dont see why not, ive made slip covers for couches before, a car seat is no different..
ive got a friend with an industrial sewing machine so fabric can be anything.. i can make my own designes etc.. its not easy, and will probably be a winter project lol but its possible..

That's pretty sweet, if you can make some good looking red/black covers that blend with the seat perfectly I'd buy em off you.

You could do something similar to the Lexus Passionate Black interior. I don't know how much it would cost to re-carpet your interior, but it's a thought.

Another thought would be to take the seats from another car. There's at least one person who's swapped CTS seats into a GP, which shows what's possible. I wonder if G8 seats could be modified to fit a GP.

Meh, I dont wanna mess with the carpet, I think that looks really tacky.
Yeah I saw some pics on clubgp of cts-v seats in a gtp, looked amazing, but he also paid $900 for them...lol
