• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Impala owners check in

Hmm broke tranny, is that from the one wheeled burnout in the picture. j/k

They're both spinning look again ;)

and no its from 60k mile of me beating the piss out of her ;) I'm pretty rogh on her, but she's held up pretty good so far, I think its either the diff or the input shaft that gave out. The donor car had 120k+ on her (for the hd upgrade), but a fresh tranny is on its way to get me thru till tax time, then I'll be sending the grenaded one to Trannyman for a real HD build ;)

I'm looking forward to getting back to the local track (Edgewater) now that I have just had Paul of PRJ help me install my SSIC and dropped down to a 3.25 pulley with a tune update! Hopefully, it'll get me into the low 13's, down from my best of 13.89 last fall. :burnrubber0:

IIRC my PB was a 13.8 @ 104??? Yeah i know. sick for my mods....i have to work on my 60'.....but when i return from Korea, im going to get the oil leak fixed ....P&P blower, N*TB, ZZP tune and run a 2.6 with as much timing as I can.....Safetly..call it that...i may try to run a little 75 shot ..depends on how fiesty i get...my goal is to run a mid -low 12 without juice

Just out of curiosity, what mods did you hace when you pulled the 13.8?

Sabre, next time you hit the track, let us know how accurate that thing is ;)

ZZP 2.9" MPS, XP Cam, ZZP 1.6, 105#, Rollmaster Timing set, Lee flex plate, 3250 TC, ZZP Input Shaft, SLP headers, SLP exhaust, ZZP S2IC, Lucas 42.5#, PRJ Fuel Rails

let the bashing begin

Holy crap, 05, what was your 60' on that 13.8 run? With those sweet mods I would think your car would be good for mid-12's already!

Hmm, that's not super bad. Still, with your mods your 1/4 should be ALOT quicker; were you running it at kind of a high elevation track? Was it super hot that day? Did you spin the tires alot at launch?

Yeah being in Tampa with 85+ degree weather and the humidity is always around 70% it sux. When i drove my car to PA b4 i came to Korea it was a different animal

Yeah, with those mods, get the car to a track at low altitude (well, Tampa has that, but...) with low humidity and cool ambient temp and I think you'd be amazed how much quicker it would run. ;)

yes ..ZZP will be seeing me when i return next year...along with some nice welds and Hoosier QTP..my goal is a mid well LOW 12

Thats a good question...I was thinking about that a while ago. There is no way I can tell, i didnt do the cam install.

just wondering... something has to be going on, im usually all over the 13.7-13.9 range w/ 1.9-2.0 60's (cablemod FTW!) only difference, not cooled, and a 3.4, stock inj/heads/blower w/ +100k on them and im s1x not xp
