Saturday night is "race" night down by a certain street and there are anywhere from 50-300 cars that show up.. mainly a bunch of punk ricers and the respected Muscle heads ( i hang w/ the stangs gto vettes , sadly ill be the only GTP there ) so yea theres always chances to go up against someone!! im so excited i just pee'd a little :th_laugh-lol3:

i also failed to mention theres about 5 miles of pure open 4 laned roads

so yea i'll let yall know!
 


Just be careful man. I used to hang at a place like that and one night out of the blue, cops everywhere. No where to run. Everyone got a ticket of some sort. They had video cameras and everything. If they can prove you were racing, you loose your ride. Hate to see that happen. Especially being around drunk ricers, they can't drive as it is. Just be careful out there.
 
Here in tx, you loose your'e ride and go to the can.
Going over 100mph is consider reckless driveing and gets a trip and a ticket.:th_shakinghead1:
So be carefull.
 
i think ohio in anything over 35mph is reckless op... theres a place where we all race and everytime there is like 15-30 cars minimum... if one shows up and doesnt see us racing they just pull in and shake there head... at that point we all scatter (looks funny seein us all go in circles)... but they havent ever givin us a ticket even though all the officers now we are racing...who knows one day they might be in a bad mood and screw us all up lol

The drunken ricers i WILL be wary of.. as for the cops...believe it or not My buddy is a Sargent of HPD and he's brings his fullybuilt 5.0 out there all the time :) im in the good! :D

They always break it up at midnight regardless.
 


That's good i guess, but still, just be careful out there. Other peoples stupidity can screw up a good time.

everyone always runs down at the rubber bowl but leaves are fallin so they can see the road better so its a no go now... everyone says the cops sit up in the airports tower and watch to see if anyones racing and they can only see it when the leaves fall so yeaaaa
 
Hey I didn't read a lot of the messages in the thread, but I have to say. I've been racing for years, and I've never gotten in trouble cuz I don't do stupid crap. Stay off the main streets, get out of town and keep it short. There's more to it, but honestly I don't think that racing is wrong. Just don't do it when mom, and the kids are in the car next to ya going to church kinda deal. That is just fked up!! Got far away so that if you do wreck, or whatever you only risk your life, your car and maybe the racers around. You've all volunteered your consent to be there so I don't feel sorry for anyone who gets hurt. Everyone should know the risk, just don't involve inocent people. I know people will disagree with what I say, and that's okay. Just do me the favor and don't race on city streets, cuz it ain't worth the price!
 


i dont know but organized street racing isnt really good, not saying i wouldnt cuz im not really sure if i would. but i thiink draggin somone on the road from a red light is fine. i say if you want organized racing your probably bettere off going to the drag strip. too bad there isnt always a drag strip around.
