UGHHH comin home from work today me and a few others were running about 70 down a main drag. All of a sudden BAMMMMM! my front drivers side tires explodes all over the road! my rim is SHOT! i have very little money until next monday! im screwed i need a new tire and my rim is cracked almost in half and thre are huge dents in it literally almost likes triangluar! Im soo pissed this is sortof helping me vent. the donut from factory im very thankful it was in the car "never used it shows" but my ABS light and my tcs is off?? is this a result of a abnormal tire? i have to call local yards tomarrow and find a torque rim =[ hopefully i getta brake at work on a tire or maybe if a decent shape tire comes in a can take it for free usually u can. anyways im realy pissed and tomarrow morning i have a presentation that makes or breaks me passing a english class! FU%K! :(
 


dont worry about the car right now dude...worry bout school...u can prolly get a cheap matching rim from someone on here,ebay,junkyard etc etc..no biggie...coulda been worse. remember to put donut tire on back though.
 
That sucks man. I have never had a tire blow out on me, but i know how you feel about English just have to talk about something that no one in the class really understands like clutches.
 
ha thanks guys yea but i need my car cuz i am always driving to work and school and i cant use my mom n dads cuz they work far away. ugh! im not to worried about a tire i can yank a used 1 that will fit im worried about findin a rim at a local yard for a decent pirce i can afford. ebay wants like 140 plus shipping! F*(K that! i can mount and balance tire at my work no biggy there i did finish my prentation on power point this morning b4 work though ha so im ready for tomarrow.
 
yeah i drove my car home pissed off with the donut on i put it on the front i didnt no about it should be on the rear until i got home told my dad he flipped ****. then hes like dude JOE! swap it to the rear. im like ahhh ok? whats the difference in this ? car still sages on left side? i am sooo freakin cold and still numb from being outside and jackin the car up ha
 


You never want to put a donut on the front. Screw with yer aligment and can do more damage to the front end.
 
Damn dude that sucks.

Lol I have a huge presentation for my english class due first thing tomorrow morning too. Now to get this damn 10 page research paper done and find something I can use as a visual aid for the presentation.

It is not the alignment, it is the abuse the differential takes from having two different sizes on it. It really applies to most vehicles: do not put a spare on your drive wheels.
 
does 70 bucks for my torque star rim sound reasonable i think so a guy on ebay i baught it from is 70 with shipping =] a local yard wants 150 for 1 god damn rim! im thinkin i can get a free tire from work a 225 60 r16 that some1 comes in and gets new tires.. maybe there will be a decent tire? time will tell ha
 


o i c. well the local yard VERY popular in this area called route 14 wanted 150 a piece for em... he said they were VERY VERY rare? im like wtf r u smokin ha
 


i got a amazing shape 225 60 16 tire today from work of a caddy =] bridgestone pernza or w.e its in amazing shape but w.e ha =] i get my rim tomarrow i believe ?
