I'm pretty sure hitting big bumps is opening my trunk..

Unless i'm hitting the trunk button my remote? It just seems that every time i drive over a pothole or something by accident, right after comes the 4 dings. I have to get out and close the trunk. I checked the latch and it seems fine, maybe i'm just stupid. Has this ever happened to anyone?

sounds to me like it is not latching all the way but just enough to keep it down until it vibrates off. if that makes sense.

I have have this same issue lol...

Hit a pot hole or bump to hard and it dings.. I usually just keep driving till I'm at my destination and latch it again...

Been to cold to mess with it but maybe the latch assembly can be adjusted down a bit?

That's a joke, cause obviously that button doesn't work while the car is in gear...

open the trunk loosen the latch and pull it up so the trunks latch grabs it more...
