110-115k USD is a joke. he can have that 5.0 into the 11's for less then 2% of the cost of that thing. Who would beat on a 110 grand car? I mean seriously. I guess if you are rich then money does grow on trees.
 


ok before everyone attacks me i am a Ford Guy, i had a 95 tbird for 5 years that i worked over and never had an issue with. As far as Fox Body Stangs, they are by far my Favorite design aside from the Boss 302. I say go for it, but as some people said wait, save up, the ins wont be that much its an older car, 5.0 all the way bro, i love my GT i got now, but my bird would not only eat it for lunch but have a camaro for dinner, i beat 04 cobras with my car, ( im a dick for selling it) but i do LOVE my Pontiac :)

I got a ford tucked away too, its a mod motor though and it runs quite well. well it did the last time it saw the track been sitting since.

Whats the real difference between the fox body 5.0 and the sn95 5.0?

or he could maybe find a 03 cobra and use that motor in the hatch or notch of his choice, GO FOR NOTCH!
 
I had a foxbody, it was a worse money pit then the GTP by far. i had put a ton of time and money in that car and still couldnt break into the 12s with out a kit on it. once i got it there reliabilty was not there. you got to keep in mind even if you throw a supercharger on a foxbody with most likely over 100k miles, even if the motor can handle it, the stock trans and rear end wont. stock suspension and street tires wont come close to planting the power. Also last fox body was 93, i dont know were your at but here in Chicago you also got to worry about them damn torque boxes. the ultimate end of my stang.

screw fox bodies... ugly POS.... rarely anything from 1975-1994 looked good out of all brands of cars... not to mention run good!!!!
