• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

im lost here

ok listen same thing happened to my car and mine was salvageable. look if you have any coolant if not look at your water pump you may need a new one

this may help idk but when it first started stalling and crap it would flash check oil and the oil light would come on but my oil was full

really no one has any ideas or anything for me? so far this site has done nothing for me helpwise except maybe improve my typing skills a little

if worse comes to worse you could always take it to a trusted mechanic. it might cost more than DIY, but at least you will get a solution.

Best, Lenny

Put an oil pressure gauge on it. Don't trust an idiot light. Just because an engine has oil in it, doesn't mean the oil pump is working...or that you have lost pressure because of a spun bearing. If it's making a metal on metal squeal, then stop starting it. Take it to a mechanic. Sounds like you need a rebuild.

Problem is with these cars...if the idiot light comes on...it already doesn't have enough oil pressure to live.
