can i install the 3" catted 304 ZZP downpipe with stock manifolds? im new to the world of headers and exhausts and i have no idea. and if i can would it even be worth it without headers?

the catback itself will net you zero performance gain. it is really a waste of money. i would suggest buying mufflers only if all youre looking for is a sound difference.

headers would be a better investment for you if all youre looking for is performance gain.

X2...I had Ported Manifolds and a Downpipe and decided to go cammed. Had to sell them, take a hit, and wish I would have gone headers way before anways...might have saved my motor in the beginning

Man I wonder why soo many people who have these cars get catback exhaust. Me I'm more of a v8 rumble kinda guy so tryin to make a v6 car sound good is a waste of time for me. I will admit I enjoy the way the sound deepend when I put my dp and plog on though. I was thinkin of just swappin out muffs tp see what it sounds like

Meh IMO building the 3800 is a good idea, but putting it into such a heavy car=fail

So did I...something always goes wrong that you never plan and end up spending 20 times as much money as you intended too. Get a nice platform to drop A LOT of money on...like a F-Body

another question i had was about flowtech headers. anybody had any experience with them? i work at VIP and one of our suppliers, keystone, deals with flowtech and i can get a ceramic coated set for about 400 dollars.
