hey guys been awhile since i have been on. My car is doing some weird things my check engine light comes on and my car starts to ride rough low idles then the idles raise on their own when they drop low the lights dim and the car almost shuts off the car has stalled on me a couple times already now so i get the car scanned twice and it points to the mass air flow sensor i get a new one and now it is worse its shaking idling all over the place and just all around bad i checked the air intake (after market cai) and no corrupted air is getting in so my other thought is that it might be plugs and wires they are the original plugs 1997 160k miles crazy i know was told they were changed which leads me to believe that the plugs are extremely old also so i plan on changing them tomorrow but i just didnt thing bad plugs and wires could stall a car multiple times any insight would be greatly appreciated thank you!

Does it run better with the MAF unplugged?

Unplug it and start it. Its possible the new sensor is bad, or a cheap aftermarket.

And change those plugs too, since they are that old.

any recommendations on the plug and thanks for the reply im gonna run outside and unplug it and try it really quick

Delco, Autolite, or NGK iridium plugs. Do not get bosch, champion, e3, etc, as they suck. Do not get copper, do not get platinum.

Also, if your throttlebody plate is anything but shiny brass, clean it with throttlebody cleaner, toothbrush and rag. Do not spray into intake.

Check the rubber "T" vacuum connection attached to the nipple under your supercharger snout. It's bound to have dry rotted by now and caused a vacuum leak.

went outside and its freezing and to dark for anything will do everything you guys mentioned above are vacuum lines easy to
replace?

good to hear if you guys think of anything else let me know ill be messing with it tomorrow afternoon thanks again

what was the maf code you got? the wires to the maf plug could also be bad, check them for cracks or missing insulation. if you see wire, the pig tail is dead. they are also cheap at like 10 to 15 bucks new. or grab one from a junk yard.
