Reminds me of the other day when I was headed to work. As I pulled up to enter a rotary, there were a bunch of guys hold signs that read "HONK for traditional marriage ONLY" and "Marriage = 1 man + 1 Woman."

I know it's really a whole other issue to some but it seems like the same ignorant hating to me.

I got a pretty good chuckle as I pulled up beside a guy holding one of the signs. He stared me right in the eye, pointed at the sign and then gave me a thumbs up. Meanwhile I'm picturing the sign reading "HONK if you're an IGNORANT RETARD," and then this redneck behind me who nearly rear-ended me with his lifted Chevy as I am waiting in line for the rotary, blasts his horn several times. :th_laugh-lol3:

And yes the advancement of the human race depends on MEN AND WOMEN not rainbow toting retards. Homosexuals do nothing for our species infact they are a disease to our species.

And yes the bible is a fiction book, its been so misconstrude over the versions and how many years??? that its lost its main point, which was the 10 commandments. Most of those books in the bible were created over time. I mean seriously, who had the time to scibe stone plates?


Marriage is a joke if you dont work at it, no one said it would be fun and easy, its a very hard job to stay with someone for love and not lust. I have never and will never cheat, much like my wife.

I don't mean to offend anyone with what I said. If you want to believe otherwise based on your religion or the bible etc., that's your choice and I won't try to change your mind.

Personally, I think the Bible is just another creative story, no more believable than Harry Potter. It only pisses me off when people try to force their beliefs on others. If you want to live your life by the words of the Bible, fine, but don't try to apply them to mine.

I try to think of it this way though. My step-mother is very religious. My father is not but she makes him go to church anyways. He doesn't mind because it makes him a better person. Just some people abuse it. I live by the rule treat people how you like to be treated. If there is a God... you really think he'd decline a good person because they didn't have faith. No one knows, but if that's the case then God is pretty corrupt. He's supposed to forgive, right?

I was using redneck as a stereotype. When I picture a redneck, I see someone with a lifted Chevy, gun rack, nascar stickers, beer cans flying out as they drive down the road. Race or even gender has nothing to do with it from my view.

I didn't see the person, I was just making a stereotype based on the vehicle he/she was driving. No different than if someone were to call me a geek for being a computer technician.

I used to drive a lifted truck, and a el camino that blew quite a few doors off, Im from SoCal, am I a redneck?

Unlike other slurs, redneck is also used to describe a hard working white farmer from the south, I think it came into play around 1865 or so when the white man had to do most of his farming on his own because the slaves that another religious/race brought over here, yes I am talking about the chosen people themselves.

See where this is going? There are cold hard facts out there and anyone can counter anything ignorant with a simple brain cell doing its job.

That's the problem with having discussions like this on a forum. It's hard to get across the correct emotion through your statements.

I always use and recieve stereotypes in a humorous manner. When people use them seriously, it's not a stereotype to me anymore, it's hate. (theres a better word I'm looking for there but can't come up with it) Maybe stereotype Isn't even the word I'm looking for.

rmm....Well as everyone said everyone has there own opinions! I come from a STRONG baptist base family! I have 6 uncles that preach! One that travels and does it! But they are not "bible beaters" to each is his own. When it comes to debating I always try to meet in the middle with it. I'm pro choice, but not for Women who abuse it or what not. I have a lot on this argument but it would be one long article that many probably would not care about.

I'll respectively disagree with the "rainbow toting retards" comments. I have a gay Uncle, and two gay best freinds. My Uncle is one of the coolest funniest people you'll ever meet, and his partner is a fantastic guy. He's also extremely intelligent, and grew up on a farm in West Virginia. My Mother has 8 siblings. I'm a firm believer that you are born this way. He knew he was gay when he was young.

My best friend knew he was gay when he was young as well. I, and one other person were the only ones that knew. He was Indian which made it tougher because his family were very strict Hindus. He was not. He tried so hard to "not" be gay. He felt ashamed. I know for a fact he couldn't help it. I was always there for him and his tough times especially when he came out during high school. I played sports, football/hockey/lacrosse in high school and many times got pissed off at teammates for making comments like "you have to stop hanging out with that fag." There are way worse ones. I admire what he went through because he truly did struggle, and through it all ended up our high school's valedictorian.

I mean seriously, you are attracted to Women, right? Are you attracted to every women? Some you like as friends, some you like more than friends, and some you dislike. Now think about this. In a way you are attracted to some men. Your "best friend" you are attracted to probably because you share some of the same interests. Maybe you dislike some other men because they aren't as fun to hang around, or are complete dicks. You can't help an attractiveness to a person, whether it's sexual or mild passion. Also, what about bi-sexuals? Are they "retards" or a "disease" too? They can have sex with the same sex, and reproduce with the opposite sex.

China was making paper and trading it long before the Middle East and Europeans were. I'm talking 800 B.C. time frame. I'm not saying they weren't scribing stone, just stating that paper and ink was available long before Jesus Christ time.

That's precisely why I usually don't participate in conversations like this. Someone almost always ends up angry and then personal attacks follow and everything gets out of hand.

If I came across angry to anyone, I certainly didn't mean it that way. I'm just discussing, as calm as can be.
