So, I decided to go on Clubgp (which I wont be doing anymore) and read a few threads. Then I came across the "TEA PARTY" thread. I read through, laughed a little then I got pissed reading this.



Am I being too sensitive to this? I honestly think people like him show just how ass backwards this country is.

That's just appalling. One of the reasons I prefer this site stay focused on cars and the community as a whole rather than having free for all areas. It just gets out of hand so easily and quickly and Id rather not have our community associated with that kind of stuff.

yeah that guy is a trip, I try to mind my own business. Even if I hear a differnt race say something about my race, I just ignore it. cause one day someones gonna take care of it, but that person's not me, I have bigger and better things to do... Reminds me of the other day when I was headed to work. As I pulled up to enter a rotary, there were a bunch of guys hold signs that read "HONK for traditional marriage ONLY" and "Marriage = 1 man + 1 Woman."

I know it's really a whole other issue to some but it seems like the same ignorant hating to me.

I got a pretty good chuckle as I pulled up beside a guy holding one of the signs. He stared me right in the eye, pointed at the sign and then gave me a thumbs up. Meanwhile I'm picturing the sign reading "HONK if you're an IGNORANT RETARD," and then this redneck behind me who nearly rear-ended me with his lifted Chevy as I am waiting in line for the rotary, blasts his horn several times. :th_laugh-lol3:

i think i'll have to disagree with ur thoughts on that one. It's wrong for same sex's, it's even in the bible. it's nice to know some ppl it doesn't bother them and their for the people but I just have a differnt look on that.

Well the bible isn't the word that everyone follows, not in the least bit. Associating the two is a horrible idea and should never have been done.

I had a debate/english class a few years ago and the same sex marriage was one of the better debates we had.

I don't live by the bible, and I'm not religious at all, however most people that were "against" same sex marriage were only against it because it was called "marriage." They said they don't mind them being together, just call it a union. I don't care either way. To be honest, this day and age, even if people are "married" they still cheat and don't follow the commitment they make to each other. Can you really call it a marriage if they aren't committed truthfully to each other? It's all corrupt. I'd be perfectly fine if I have a "relationship" with my girlfriend for the rest of my life. I stand committed to her. I have never cheated. We've been together for 7 years now. I'm 24, and we are better off than most married people.

personally i think marriage has become a joke nowadays the divorce rate her in the US is like 80 some percent.
but gays should be able to reap the same benefits as married couples in the event that a spouse is lost

Yea, I was referring to the guys with the signs. It's one thing to tell people your beliefs in a church where people can come or go as they please, but quite another to point and shout and wave a sign in someones face as they are stuck in rush hour traffic.

In all reality I could care less what other people think...it is your own life and live it how you want. Bible, or no bible...racist or not...everyone is going to die someday so what does it matter? I live life with no regrets and that is the way it should be. You never know what is going to happen tomorrow.

Why are you so afraid? Gay's are people too. I don't want this to turn into a debate but I am just stating my part...

They have feelings and everything just like you do and when it comes down to it, I know plenty of gay and straight people and what does it REALLY matter?

I say as long as they don't bother me with their stuff I won't bother them with mine...I just know how much it sucks to get made fun of and picked on and I hate stuff like this. Happened all my life growing up. Not wanting a pity party I am just using it as an example. Just give them rights, as they are human beings too.
